Within our art this week, the children have continued creating their dinosaur eggs using paper mache. The children all demonstrated excellent resilience during this activity.
We then discussed where we thought dinosaur eggs would be found. The children agreed that a nest would be suitable place to keep them safe. Mrs Gilbert suggested that we weave a nest for our eggs. We researched weaving and took inspiration from the artist Gunta Stolzl to practice our weaving skills. The children created paper weaving looms and wove through coloured strips of paper to create their designs.
